In Bolivia, every day hundreds of dogs and cats are abandoned by their owners and / or mistreated by beings who do not appreciate the lives of other living beings. All the time more and more puppies are born in street condition that are continually exposed to dangerous situations.
This year was achieved the implementation of an Animal Abuse Law (Law 700), although this exists, nothing serious has been achieved in the application of it, because all abusers leave unharmed.

There are several animal protection associations, which have done a lot of work to raise awareness in most of society, they do not have a shelter, they work because some put their houses to care for some animals until are given for adoption, and in the case of veterinary care leave the donations that are made, but this is not enough, there are cases that cannot be attended because there is nowhere to take the animals.
