Help Sonny fight Cancer

by , in
Sonny, A rescued puppy from Hurricane Katrina is part of Krista Gabbard's Family. She has raised him with her kids and he is now a big part of their life as well. Over the last 6 months he started getting a growth on his eye and we recently found out that it is cancer and he needs to have his eye removed. With finances how they currently are we are breaking down and asking for help. If we cannot come up with the money for the surgery, Animal control is going to take him from our home and we unsure what will happen there. It would break our hearts to lose him. They said if we remove the eye, the cancer will not return and he will be normal again.

Azella an Siberian Husky Pup needs you!

by , in
Azella an 7 Week old Siberian Husky puppy is suffering from Parvo Viral Infection and needs your attention. Parvo is almost always fatal if not treated in time. I'm(Rebecca Guerra Sesser) absolutely heartbroken and I am praying everyday that my little Azella pulls through this. She has been at the vet for 4 days and her condition was improving but it started to deteriorate again. With treatment, She has a great chance of living a healthy life and overcoming this virus. I tried to help her myself, but without the vet she won’t make it. I have no other options.
Meet Azella!
The vet bills are accumulating quickly and we have already had to pay $1500 out of pocket. Her bill is up to $7000 and is growing quickly each day. I will happily pay hundreds of thousands if I knew it would bring my best friend back to me. I’m a college student but I have left this semester to take care of her, so my income is not steady. I need all the help I can get so I can continue getting Azella the treatment she needs.
I have never met a puppy as energetic, kooky and cuddly as my Azella. She is super clumsy and loving. All of the vets at the animal hospital are fighting over who gets to monitor her because of how much she loves cuddles and people. I need her to be okay. She is my everything and I don’t want her to pass away because I couldn’t pay the vets anymore. She is my first dog and we bonded the second I held her. The only thing that’s keeping her treatment going is money. I am begging you to help my bring my sweet little girl home. Anything helps. I never wanted to ask for this money, but I have to put my pride aside so I don’t have to bury my baby.

Please donate and Spread the word!

Save Luna to cure Parvoviral Infection

by , in

A close friend’s 6-week old Cocker Spaniel puppy, Luna, has been diagnosed with parvovirus, a deadly canine virus that is known to affect dogs under 6 months old.  The virus is destroying her intestinal walls and lining, making it impossible for poor Luna to digest any food.  Her tiny body is dehydrated to dangerously low levels, and blood has been found in her vomit and excrement.  Because this virus is highly contagious and kills many dogs every year, Luna must also be kept in isolation from other animals.
Meet Luna!
Parvovirus is highly aggressive and deadly if not treated quickly, so time is of the essence. The veterinarian has prescribed treatments totaling $8,000 to save Luna’s life. These include round-the-clock IV fluid infusions, restorative nutrition treatments, palliative therapies, sedation, and antibiotics. The necessity to keep Luna isolated during her care is also very expensive.

Luna is fighting for her life right now, and she needs our help.
Luna really is the sweetest little puppy. When she’s healthy, she’s so exuberant and full of energy, just the friskiest little furball you’ve ever seen — playful, energetic, and friendly.

What is Parvovirus Infection
The canine parvovirus (CPV) infection is a highly contagious viral illness that affects dogs. The virus manifests itself in two different forms. The more common form is the intestinal form, which is characterized by vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and lack of appetite (anorexia). The less common form is the cardiac form, which attacks the heart muscles of very young puppies, often leading to death. The majority of cases are seen in puppies that are between six weeks and six months old. The incidence of canine parvovirus infections has been reduced radically by early vaccination in young puppies.

Please donate and help save Luna’s life.

A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won’t be too bad.
